To me it appears that though motion includes a relation of one thing to another, yet it is not necessary that each term of the relation be denominated from it. Matter, I say, and each particle thereof, is according to them infinite and shapeless, and it is the mind that frames all that variety of bodies which compose the visible world, any one whereof does not exist longer than it is perceived. But then it must be observed that it supports nothing at all, and how nearly this comes to the description of a nonentity I desire may be considered.
